Maria Belyi received her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Maria is extremely happy to have joined the passionate and experienced group of solo practitioners at Pier 5 Law Offices.

Maria is a dedicated and enthusiastic advocate for her clients. She has experience with various types of criminal cases, including multiple defendant drug cases and federal drug conspiracy cases. She also has experience with DUIs, Vehicle Code violations, Drug Possession and Under the Influence of a Narcotic cases, and Medical Marijuana cases.

Maria is admitted to all California State Courts; she is also admitted to the Northern and Eastern District of California federal courts. She has been admitted pro hac vice to the U.S. District Court of Wyoming.

Maria is a native Russian speaker.
